Rain
On A River
Written

Set in present day this mystery and romance centers around the lives of
Lastlia
Priscilla States and Alden Bain Thearou.
The story starts out when
the
two are about to start fifth grade and Lastila has just attended her
first
auction and purchased a painting of her past.
Her father, Justin
States
is an eminent scientist and
when the painting is brought home
only
weeks
before she starts school he
realizes that it is having a profound
effect
on her, which leads him to proving
a theory about the strange
phenomena.
As
Lastlia and Alden grow up together, they
fall in love and realize
that
they have traveled together in past lives.
They also come to the
shocking
realization that a foe has traveled with them as well and intends to
keep
them apart. They find that they both
are able to access their past life
experiences
through the means of playing music together,
each on separate
pianos
in the same room, and their uncanny
abilities on the piano are
obvious
to all that hear them play. As
they begin to unravel the mystery of
their
past, they are gripped with the challenge
of finding out who the enemy
is
in their present and it soon becomes
a matter of life or death.
Meanwhile,
as Justin sharpens up his theory and word gets out about
it,
high powered forces begin to fight for this new intelligence.
As both
battles
are being waged, Lastlia and Alden
are torn apart and highly
misunderstood.
